Austin Pinter a 2014 graduate from Evanston High School in Evanston WY has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for his sophomore season at Western Wyoming Community College Men's Soccer team.  Pinter's freshman campaign was a good one and he recorded the following stats; 107 Saves, 28 Goals Allowed, 79.2% Save Percentage, 14 Starts and 29 Halves Played.

Pinter was also honored as a 2nd Team All-Region IX North Keeper at the end of the regular season and was presented with NJCAA Academic All Conference and NJCAA Academic All Region Awards this spring.

Obviously Austin is a great keeper, an awesome student and a wonderful person, Pinter was instrumental in several community service opportunities we had this spring especially at the YWCA - Boys and Girls Club and the WWCC Free Day.

We are excited for him to play another year and to continue to improve and show off his athleticism and keeper skills.

During the spring Austin continued to improve and grow in self confidence.  His last spring scrimmage were brilliant.  These spring scrimmages included a shutout half versus SLCC and a 1 goal allowed win versus the University of Utah.  Pinter had several great saves that kept the Utes from scoring the tying goal in Salt Lake that day.
