In the afternoon of Saturday April 25th the 2015 Spring Season for the Western Wyoming Community College Men's Soccer team came to an end.  The final scrimmage was against University of Utah Club team.  This was the same team that WWCC competed against for their first scrimmage in the fall of 2014.

The rain started during the warm-ups and continued through most of the match.  The Utes struck first as the headed home a ball in the 9th minute off of a corner kick.  A tying goal was scored in the 41st minute of the match when Colton Cottrell sent a long ball over the top that Riley Gibson tracked down and calmly chipped over the Utah keeper.  The halftime score was 1 - 1.

The Mustangs were first to strike in the second half, when a ball sent into the U of U box hit a Ute defender and a penalty kick was called.  Taylor Flitton scored the pk in the 56th minute.  The remainder of the scrimmage was played at a high level and ended with a score of 2 to 1 in favor of the WWCC Mustangs.  Austin Pinter played all 90 minutes in the goal for the Mustangs and recorded 8 saves, including a few spectacular saves in the second half.
