Nathan Cutler, a defender and a sophomore from Layton High in Layton Utah has signed his National Letter of Intent to play his second year of eligibility at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs WY.

Nathan is currently serving an LDS mission in Mexico.  He is set to return this summer before rejoining the Mustangs in training camp.

Cutler played for Western Wyoming Soccer his freshman year in 2012.  Cutler was an outside back and had a stellar year helping the Mustangs capture their first NJCAA Region IX title, West District tournament appearance and first NJCAA National Tournament appearance which was held in Albany GA.

Nathan was an integral part of the 2012 Mustangs as his stats prove; he had 17 Shots, 2 Goals, 2 Assists, 35 Fouls, 19 Starts and 54 Halves Played.

The 19 starts was very impressive for a freshman on such a talented squad.  Cutler demonstrates a good mix of speed, strength, soccer iq and athleticism.  Cutler can play as an outside back and an outside midfielder.  He will provide leadership, skill and championship experience to a very capable 2015 Western Wyoming soccer team.  He will help to control the tempo and possession with long attacking runs from the outside  He has the ability to play great defense while providing support to the midfield and has an offensive punch.

We look forward to his safe return and seeing Cutler again don the Mustang jersey and represent Western Wyoming Community College.
