Alan Wendlandt joins the Western Wyoming Family

Alan Wendlandt a senior from Rock Springs High has recently signed a National Letter of Intent for the Western Wyoming Community College men's soccer team.  Alan has had a great high school career for the Rock Springs Tigers.  He played at the state tournament as a freshman and a sophomore.  Alan suffered an injury that sidelined him for all of his junior year.  Alan has returned to the Tigers for his senior year and looked great as he is led RSHS to victories, scoring goals and adding assists.  Alan led the Tigers to another Wyoming State Tournament and a 5th place finish.  Wendlandt was also named 1st team 4A Wyoming All State Player.
Alan has a high soccer IQ and has an outstanding body type for the college game.  At Western we know that Alan can excel and we look for him to play somewhere in the midfield, most likely as an attacking player but possibly as an outside player.  Alan does have
the skills and speed to play as a forward.  We look forward to seeing Alan do his best this fall as he wears the Mustang Red, White and Black.  Congratulations to Alan for making the next step to play collegiate soccer.
